WE: So you grew up in General Santos City? Are you really from there?
TC: Yes! I transferred here for College. My Dad is a LaSallite so it is expected that all of us should
study there. I love my place and Im proud of GenSan (not just of Pacquiao) I dream of
becoming one of the mayors there or even help boost the tourism there through events.
WE: How many siblings do you have?
TC: I have 2 sisters. I am the eldest. My second sister is a registered nurse and plans to work
abroad. My third sister, she's still studying in LaSalle with double degree course in Political
Science and Management and Financial Institutions.
WE: How were you in High School?
TC: Well, I was very active in our school. I was involve with so many activities and I was even
part of the Student Council since elementary. I was handling events then, I was one of the
organizers of the prom, reach out projects and fairs. I was also involve with Theater Arts
and even became a sub-teacher for our prep. Not only that, I was also part of the dance
group.
WE: Wow! You were involve with so many things ha! But what is really your love?
TC: My love is on dancing and doing events. I started to dance when I was 3 yrs. old. Since
then I keep on joining contest, special numbers anything as long as people will see me
dancing. I love dancing and performing infront of people it is because I was inclined and
been doing it since I was young.I started with hawaiian dance, and then ballet where me
and my sisters and my cousins went there to learn ballet and then I even went to Powerdance
to study jazz, ballroom dancing and hiphop. I went to learn hiphop and groove with the
Maneouvers in Trumpets and last with Orange Dance Studio. I was also a member of Synergy
Dance Group of LaSalle when I was in College. Yet, I don't see myself growing in dancing.
Though I have plans of putting up a dance studio but lets see. I'm still in the process of
learning new dancing skills, like Flamenco and Latin Dance. Doing Events! Phew! This is what
I really enjoy. I've been the event/ activity planner of the family. When we have plans of
having a party my mom gives me the task to handle it. I've been involve in handling and
planning weddings and debuts, and it gave such a great feeling of fulfillment, that is why I
decided to be a wedding planner professionally.
WE: You are such a superwoman! Tell me more about your wedding planning thing.
TC: Well, I was involve in handling weddings with my relatives and friends. It amazes me seeing
someone getting married. When I was young, I would really stopped by the Church to watch a
wedding. I love weddings because it gives me the fulfillment and its amazing watching a couple
as they say their vows infront of God. My cousin is a professional
event stylist/florist/designer and we decided to put such business. Since I love to plan and
handle events, and he got the skills for the styling so we decided why not put up a business.
Plus, I'm a Bride to be so I share the same sentiments with my clients. I know what they
want and I understand them its because we share the same sentiments.
WE: Can you tell them about Eventos d' Expertos
TC: Well, we cater to corporate and social events. We handle and even plan any
events that you'll be having. We just started the company last Aug. 7, 2006 and as our kick
off we gave our services for free for the first 5 clients. We specializes in theme weddings and
destination weddings. Thus, we are not only for weddings and debuts but we also cater for
corporate clients like for their christmas party, product lauching, et. al. as long as its a social
event we can handle it. We do not consider ourselves as a one-stop wedding shop but we
inclined to be one and be able to have branches all over the Philippines, yet we can only do
